PulkitPunj, Director, AnG India Ltd. answers:
What has been the growth of security sector in the last five years and how do you envision its growth in the next five years?
In last five years, the security sector has evolved a lot. It has been growing tremendously because people have become more aware it and understand the importance of security in their lives. Due to demand, new trends and technologies have emerged such as CMS, QRT, hybrid systems etc and CCTV has seen the most R&D and opposed to other electronic security aspects. As I said, next 5 years will see further saturation of players in the industry and a rise in different other trends.
Technology is changing very fast. Are we technically equipped to incorporate the state-of-the-art security? Kindly explain.
Yes, definitely we are. We are doing such work for all the banks for their currency chests which are the most critical installations. We are continuously updating the technology in tune with the changing trends.
In the global security network, where does India stand?
I believe that India still has a long way to go but the good part is we have entered the race with the preparations, which means the journey would be worthwhile and rewarding.
What is the USP of your products?
Well, apart from having an extensive infrastructure (500 people installation team pan India) our products are open ended - consumer friendly and can be serviced by any one. The consumer is not left to depend on the service provider and can switch as per their needs.
Security must be made cost-effective and affordable by the commoner. Your comments.
Yes, I completely agree with the statement but on the same time everything comes at a price. The question however is 'what is the price one would keep for security and safety'?.With the growing demand, solutions should be tailored and customized and the general market should offer affordable solutions to cater more and more segments.
How can we make our establishments secured with minimal inputs and costs?
For minimal inputs a basic CCTV system along with a burglar intrusion system should be in place. Fire detection system is a basic for any establishment and is a must. Access controls can be added to restrict entry.
Is your company planning cost-effective security devices like CCTV surveillance etc.?
Yes, AnG india Ltd. already has a range of cost effective solutions in all dimensions of the electronic security spectrum. OPEX and CAPEX models are also available to boost affordability. On other side, CMS (Central monitoring station) is yet another multi site cost effective incident based solution for the same purpose.
